If you do not wish to walk, bus transportation will be provided from
the Great Auditorium to Francis Asbury Manor.
Walk For the Fellowship Fund
The Walk raises money for the Fellowship Fund. This tradition acts as a financial safety net for residents who are no longer able to cover either part or the full cost of their care. No resident has ever been asked to leave a United Methodist Home for financial reasons.
Fellowship Fund expenses include residents' rent, meals, housekeeping, laundry, personal care services, transportation, over the counter medical supplies, eyeglasses, plus dental and medical visits and prescriptions not covered by insurance.
The Fellowship Fund reflects our Christian values and the social consciousness of the church and is a cornerstone of the Homes' ministry. The Homes provides compassionate, caring service to almost 1,400 seniors of all faith backgrounds in 10 communities.
