Bequests
A bequest will continue what is important to you (your values) into the future, after you have completed your life on earth.
A bequest is a gift you set forth in your Will or Trust using such language as “I give to United Methodist Homes of New Jersey $1,000.00 for its general purposes.”
A bequest can take many forms including a specific amount of money, a particular item, all or part of the remainder of one’s estate or a contingent gift.
A bequest can be changed or cancelled during your lifetime.
